Facebook Removes Cristiano Ronaldo

Facebook, the very popular social networking website has recently removed Cristiano Ronaldo’s public profile. The profile was extremely popular with Cristiano Ronaldo fans, having an amazing 2.9 million fans linked to it.
Facebook has stated their reasons for removing the profile from the website as being a violation of their terms of service agreement, saying that the Cristiano Ronaldo profile was not run by Cristiano Ronaldo or any of his official representatives.
The former Cristiano Ronaldo Facebook public profile was run by a soccer fan from Pakistan named Kunwar Ali, and although Ali had tacit approval from Cristiano Ronaldo’s agency, Facebook still is adamant that the profile was in violation of their TOS and has refused to reinstate it. Facebook’s explanation hasn’t gone over very well with the fans whom were connected to the profile. They aren’t happy that Facebook made an exception for the highly popular Coca-Cola public profile which isn’t run by any official representatives, but by fans of the product.
