Cristiano Ronaldo’s recent goal versus Portuguese Champions, Porto FC has been named goal of the year for the Manchester United Football Club at their gala awards party.

Cristiano Ronaldo scored that goal at the six minute mark of  the second leg  versus Porto.  The goal was a stunner which flew by the helpless goalkeeper and into the back of the net.  It was one of Cristiano Ronalo’s most memorable goals, and he has scored a few.

Cristiano Ronaldo’s goal versus Porto was the only goal in the game and it put the Reds through to the semi-finals where they faced EPL rivals Arsenal, whom they also beat.  The win versus Arsenal put Manchester United through to the finals in Rome.  They face Spanish Champs Barcelona.

The two teams met last year in the semi-finals.  Manchester United won that encounter, but will they win it again this year?  Cristiano Ronaldo thinks they can.
